Valentina Gevorgyan

Valentina Gevorgyan recently defended her doctorate in Political Science at University of Fribourg. Her thesis is about relations between civil society and government institutions in Armenia. Valentina is a Research Specialist and Civil Society Program Coordinator at Open Society Foundations, Armenian office. Prior to that she was a Senior Researcher at American University of Armenia. She has co-authored the book "Armenian Civil Society: Old Problems, New Energy after Two Decades of Independence" published earlier this year, 2021 (Springer: Societies and Political Orders in Transition).
