Dr Valentina Feklyunina

Valentina Feklyunina is Senior Lecturer in Politics in the School of Geography, Politics and Sociology at Newcastle University (UK). She is the author of the monograph Identities and Foreign Policies in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus: The Other Europes (2014, co-authored with Professor Stephen White and published by Palgrave) and numerous articles on Russian foreign policy, identity and soft power in the European Journal of International Relations, British Journal of Politics and International Relations, International Politics, Europe-Asia Studies and other journals. Her current research focusses on Russia’s international status and narratives of Russian past.
