Marta Michalska

Marta Michalska is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw (Poland). She studies sounds of Warsaw at the turn of the 19th and 20th century, focusing on social and cultural context of how people made sense of sounds in their everyday life. She also works as a teacher and an editor, and is a co-creator of a radio program about historical sound studies at the independent station Radio Kapitał.
