Julia Rochtchina

Julia Rochtchina is an Associate Teaching Professor in the department of Germanic and Slavic Studies at the University of Victoria. Her primary research interest is in language pedagogy, e-learning, and bilingualism. She is the Russian programme coordinator at the University of Victoria and the Director of the UVic Russian Testing Centre.

Dr. Rochtchina is the author of a Beginning Russian textbook “Sputnik: an Introductory Russian Language Course” (http://www.sputniktextbook.org) and an online Russian language tutorial Russian for Everyone (www.russianforeveryone.com ).
