Rachel Brasier
I am currently an M.S. Geospatial Information Sciences (GIS) student at the University of Texas at Dallas and a full-time Economic Development Analyst. I am working on my final master's project studying nighttime lights in the Donbas as a potential method of modeling conflict migration patterns. I also have an M.A. in Economics (2016) and a B.A. in International Studies (2015) from the University of Alabama. My previous work experience includes Peace Corps service teaching at universities in Ukraine (2018 to 2019) and two years as an economic research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (2016 to 2018). I read and speak Ukrainian, Russian, French, and Spanish.
