
Sylvia Martin-Laforge, who has been the Director General of the Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN) for almost 15 years, has vast experience at the federal government and government of Ontario dealing with linguistic minority communities as well as women’s and indigenous people’s issues. Prior to her taking the helm at QCGN, Martin-Laforge was involved in policy and program development in employment equity and linguistic duality.
In 2012, she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal which honours significant contributions and achievements by Canadians.
