
Roma Medwid
Roma Medwid is in her 47th year of education. She worked her way through the ranks as a teacher, vice principal and principal before being promoted to board level administration first as Assistant Director of Pedagogical Services, Regional Director, and retiring as Deputy Director General of the English Montreal School Board in 2015. She started her own educational consulting company, The Medwid Education Group in 2016. In 2017 she began her second career as Executive Director of Concordia University’s Teacher Educational Council. She oversees the teacher education programs leading to teacher certification.
In her spare time, she volunteers for Generations Foundation to raise funds for the needy children on the Island of Montreal. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Father Jean Foundation awarding scholarships to deserving scholars.
