Frequently Asked Questions
Launched in 2020 in response to the urgent need for digital upskilling during the Covid-19 pandemic, Digital Skill-Share Days is a learning event dedicated to helping Concordia employees develop and share their digital skills. The event is crowd-sourced, with most content contributed by Concordia staff and faculty.
This year's event kicks off on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the 4th Space, located in the Atrium of the McConnell Building on the Sir George Williams Campus. On Day 2, Wednesday, February 12, the event will shift to online, where you can access the sessions via the Grenadine platform and participate from the comfort of your office or home.
Join us in refreshing your digital skills! If you can't find exactly what you need in the live sessions, there are also online resources to learn at your own pace in both the 'learn on your own' tab, as well as several sections in the 'additional resources' tab.
Simply click on the Register tab and follow the steps.
- You will have access to the virtual event space containing all online sessions and training and the opening plenary (hybrid).
- Registrants will have access to the welcome breakfast, opening plenary, keynote presentation and the Lightning rounds that will take place in person at 4th SPACE as well as online (snacks only available in-person).
- Please note that the plenary has limited capacity and is first come first served.
- You will also have access to the virtual event space containing all online sessions, training, and a keynote presentation.
- Please note that you only need to register once, even if you will be attending many sessions.
Recordings of sessions will be made available on the Digital Skill-Share days SharePoint site for viewing after the event.
Please contact us by email at digitalskills@concordia.ca.

The event will be held over two days:
- Tuesday, February 11th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST
- Wednesday, February 12th from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST
Please refer to the Minimum Technical Requirements page.
While much of the schedule is public, the critical links to the online sessions are only visible once you have created an account, logged in to the event website and signed up for sessions. You will be able to join a virtual session on the date and time indicated in the schedule.
Note that the “join virtual session” button will only appear approximately 25 minutes prior to the scheduled session start time. You will be automatically admitted to the waiting room until the session starts.
You can interact with other attendees using the discussion box under each activity or via the event chat, available throughout the event.
We insist that all participants of the Digital Skill-Share Days event abide by the event code of conduct. If you witness or experience a violation of the code of conduct, please contact the organizers at digitalskills@concordia.ca. The reports will be treated with discretion.
