This is a series of interactive, on-line modules designed for all faculty, staff, and managers at Concordia to learn the foundations of the UNITY integrated solution. The complete series of modules begin with the "Employee Self-Serve" eLearning. Managers have been requested to continue their training by also taking the "Manager Self-Serve" eLearning course. 

 

 

UNITY SELF-SERVICE eLEARNING PROGRAM


Introduction to UNITY - 15 minutes
For all faculty and staff, this course introduces UNITY, Concordia's integrated administration solution: 

  • UNITY's key features
  • the complete training program
  • the role-based approach what systems are being replaced

Navigate in UNITY - 20 minutes
For all faculty and staff, this course provides an opportunity for you to:

  • become familiar with the UNITY interface
  • learn how to navigate from the home page to the various applications
  • personalize your landing page by organizing your applications the way that works best for you

Manage My Profile - 30 minutes
For all faculty and staff, this course will guide you through the steps to consult and update your employee profile, including your contact information and direct deposit information.


Manage My Time - 40 minutes
For all permanent, contractual and casual non-academic employees who track their time, this module will guide you through various time management processes, such as:  

  • track your time worked 
  • request time off 
  • record your sick days 
  • view your time-off balances, including vacation...

Manage My Leave - 10 minutes
For all faculty and staff, this module will guide you through the process of requesting a leave of absence, including for a parental leave or a non-salary leave (NSL).


Manage My Team’s Employee Profile - 25 minutes
For managers and direct supervisors, this course will guide you through the process of managing employees profile and consulting your organizational charts.


Manage My Team’s Time - 30 minutes
For managers and direct supervisors, this course will guide you through the process of managing your team's time.


Manage My Team’s Leave - 20 minutes
For managers and direct supervisors, this course will guide you through the process of responding to leave of absence requests from the employees who report to you.


Manage My Purchase Requisitions - 30 minutes

For all faculty and staff who create purchase requisitions as part of their role at Concordia. The module will guide you through the purchase requisition process, so that you can create, modify, and view the status of your purchase requisitions.


Review and Approve Purchase Requisitions - 30 minutes

For managers and direct supervisors, this course will guide you through the process of reviewing and approving a purchase requisition which is assigned to you.
