Geneviève Sicotte is a full professor in the Department of Études françaises at Concordia University. Her work focuses on the theme of food in literature and cultural productions. Among her publications, Le festin lu. Le repas chez Flaubert, Zola et Huysmans (1999 and 2008), Gastronomie québécoise et patrimoine (2013, with M.-N. Aubertin), " Raconter l'aliment " (Captures, 2016, with M.-C. Lambert-Perreault). She is also the author of Vital Signs, a work of digital literature that explores the intimate meaning of food (2020).
