Genevieve Collins

Genevieve Collins is a MA student in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Concordia University. Her research interests include sensory ethnography, sensory research design, and speculative futures. Her MA thesis project aims to investigate the sensory environment of speculative human space settlements in space by creating an immersive sensory environment under the supervision of Professor David Howes. She is also a student member of the Centre for Sensory Studies and the Concordia Ethnography Lab. Before coming to Concordia, she studied Development Sociology and Global Health at Cornell University and has an independent film practice.
