I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Hiralal Mazumdar Memorial College for Women. I have done my MPhil on "Smell in Everyday Life: A Sociological interpretation of the Middle Classes of Kolkata". I am presently pursuing my PhD on "Idea of Social in Rabindranath Tagore" in the Department of Sociology, Jadavpur University.
