Jackie Walduck

She/her

Senior Lecturer in Music
University of Kent UK

Jackie is an improvising vibraphone player, exploring dialogical practice between audio and visual live art.  At the heart of her work is a focus on the social and the sensory as aspects of improvisation.  This is explored through her multi-sensory and interactive performances Miso Kitchen (2020) and Communion (2022) and her work with people living with mental ill-health.  Her first vibes and electronics album, Vibin' and Marblin' (2021), made with artist Chloe Cooper, explores aspects of sensory experience, and can be heard here: https://jackiewalduck.bandcamp.com/album/vibin-and-marblin
