John McMahon is the Director General of Vanier College. Mr. McMahon has more than 40 years of experience in the educational milieu and previously served as Academic Dean at Vanier College. He has served as Senior Vice President, Academic and Student Success at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario, Director of Centennial College (Montreal) and Principal of Jannimmarik School in Kuujjuaq. Prior to assuming senior administrative positions, Mr. McMahon taught at both the high school and college level and worked as an academic and student counselor in various locations including the Canadian Arctic, the Bahamas, Quebec, and Ontario.
