Alisha Gibson completed a PhD at The University of Manchester in 2017, where her research focused on the development and evaluation of information resources for different users in a health context. Shifting focus to the field of education, Alisha joined CLIC Le réseau linguistique in 2018. One of eastern Canada's premiere private language schools, since 1978 CLIC has provided second-language training for thousands of French, English, and Spanish learners, applying its conversation-based approach with teaching tailored to the requirements and preferences of each student. As Head of Content and Training at CLIC, Alisha oversees CLIC's teaching materials to ensure the implementation of best practice. This role also involves the development of CLIC's teacher training program, and acting as Pedagogical Advisor for English. She still manages to teach a few hours a week, and loves to talk about the Present Perfect.
