Dr. Faith Fitzpatrick is a research hydrologist at the USGS Upper Midwest Water Science Center where she has been conducting applied research on causes of accelerated river channel change, river corridor sources and sinks of sediment and sediment-bound P, geomorphology/habitat interactions, and river restoration over the last 30 years. Faith has served in the role of science coordination for oil spills and floods, and is currently developing a erosion risk framework the incorporates headwater channels, ravines, stream power, and corridor erosion. She teaches a USGS fluvial geomorphology course for the USGS and universities.
