About the Forum theme
"Sustainable Futures for Quebec’s English-Language Education"
Research shows that Quebec’s English-language education system faces significant challenges to vitality across its continuum, such as:
- the impact of recent provincial legislation;
- declining enrollment;
- youth retention;
- teacher shortages;
- the integration of new technologies in the classroom.
The Forum will address these issues and explore sustainable solutions.
We invite participants to imagine what a strong future for English-language education in the province looks like, and to consider the conditions needed to achieve it. Additionally, we want to engage in conversations around the future direction of research in this field and identify research priorities.
