Madhuparna Nandi
Madhuparna Nandi earned a Ph. D. in Biochemistry (Immunology) at the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Kolkata, India. Her area of specialization was infectious diseases (Hepatitis B) immunology wherein her primary focus was longitudinal monitoring of commonality or divergence in different patient disease stages during the natural history of infection.
She further developed her Viral immunology expertise through special invitation for training at University of Maryland, Baltimore, USA followed by which she further pursued her zeal for human immunology during 4.5 years of postdoctoral research experience, first at the University of Sheerbrooke, then at the University of Ottawa.
Her first post doctoral Research focused on T-cell Acute lymphoblastic leukemia and exploring neoplastically transformed progenitors and disease remission by adoptive T cell transfer therapy. During her second postdoctoral tenure, she worked on CAR-NK adoptive cell immunothrapy in multiple myeloma.
Since May 2023, she has worked as a Research Scientist for the Data Analysis Unit initially for Development Team and currently she has transitioned to Clinical Sciences team at CellCarta Biosciences (previously Caprion) and functions as one of the Lead Scientists in the team.
