Dr. Adnan Qayyum

Associate Professor
Athabasca University

Adnan is an Associate Professor of Education Innovation at Athabasca University. He has a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Concordia University in Montreal.  Adnan is the co-editor of two books comparing the state of open and distance education in 12 countries: Open and Distance Education in Australia, Europe, and the Americas: National Perspectives in a Digital Age and Open and Distance Education in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East: National Perspectives in a Digital Age. His research interests are: innovation in open and digital education; learning systems; education policy; lifelong learning and nonformal education; online education and the workforce; comparative and international education; research design; and data science.
