Sreenivas Alampalli

Dr. Sreenivas Alampalli is a Senior Principal at Stantec in Albany, NY, USA. Prior to joining Stantec a year ago, he was with New York State Department of Transportation for more than 30 years working in structures related research, inspection, evaluation, and management.  He has co-authored more than 250 technical publications including books on infrastructure health in civil engineering, risk management, and multihazard considerations in civil infrastructure. He also co-edited two books on the inspection, evaluation, and maintenance of suspension bridges. 

Dr. Alampalli has been very active with professional societies including ASNT, ASCE, TRB, ISHMII, and IABMAS. He currently is the President of IABMAS-USA National Chapter and serves on ASCE Technical Activities Division Executive Committee. Among awards received include ASCE OPAL Award for outstanding lifetime achievement in Government, Aftab Mufti Life-Time Achievement Award from ISHMII, and William Via Bridge NDT Lifetime Service Recognition from ASNT.
