My Session Status

When:
6:00 PM, Thursday 7 Nov 2024 EST (5 hours)
Where:
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts - Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion
Every evening from dusk to 11pm, ulitsuak | marée montante | rising tide by multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker Glenn Gear will illuminate the Sherbrooke facade of the Michal and Renalta Hornstein Pavilion of the Montreal Museum of Fine Art. This is the first Indigenous art commission created specifically for the Museum’s outdoor spaces. In this new projected animation, Inuit geometric figures follow the architectural lines of the Museum, gradually filling in its facade. The result is a kaleidoscopic spectacle of light and colour in Montreal’s downtown core.

Artwork projected from October 1, 2024 - March 30, 2025
