Kimberly Pilgrim is an Inuk woman from Nunatsiavut. Currently based in Hopedale, Nunatsiavut, she works as the Director of Administration at Inotsiavik Language and Culture Incorporated, which is a newly founded not-for-profit in Hopedale dedicated to Inuttitut lessons and Inuit cultural programming. She obtained a certificate in Inuit Studies from Nunavut Sivuniksavut (NS) in Ottawa in 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Carleton University in 2024. Her experience learning about Inuit history, self-government, language, and arts at NS, coupled with her own passion for cultural projects and revitalization inspired her to pursue a career in Inuit education, leading her to become one of the founding directors of Inotsiavik Language and Culture. Outside of her role at Inotsiavik, she enjoys beading, sewing, and spending time on the land.
