Julie Grenier is a multidisciplinary artist of mixed Inuk and colonial ancestry from Kuujjuaq in Nunavik, Northern Quebec. She currently lives in the outskirts of Montreal, where she works as Director General for Taqramiut Nipingat Inc., the Inuit radio and television of Nunavik. Julie also works with other organizations, such as the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network where she is the current Board Chair and the Inuit Art Foundation where she is the Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Directors. In her artistic career, Julie works with different mediums and has created collaborative works for the Museum of Man in Paris permanent collection, the inaugural exhibit INUA at the WAG Qaumajuq and has participated in the creation of the outfit worn by the Governor General of Canada during her installation ceremony. Some of Julie's works have also been worn at prestigious events such as the Arctic Inspiration Prize, the Emmy's and the Polaris Prize Gala just to name a few.
