Surface Engineering for Sustainable Hydrogen Technologies

What:
Talk
When:
11:20 AM, Wednesday 1 Jun 2022 EDT (35 minutes)
How:

Hydrogen offers a wide range of possible applications and is regarded as the energy carrier of the future. In terms of decarbonisation, hydrogen will make a decisive contribution to replacing fossil fuels. The crucial question at this point will be how hydrogen production and use can be scaled up in the future to meet demand. Technologically functioning systems are available today and the ramp-up of production technology is currently taking place. But in order to increase efficiency in all areas of hydrogen, research will have to be carried out on surface technologies in the future. This talk will present some examples from the Fraunhofer IST
