Wednesday, June 1       Green Hydrogen Technology and Economy Symposium

The symposium will feature guest speakers from industry and academia from Canada and Germany and sponsored by Green-SEAM and also by the Canada Germany Project.  The meeting is focused on developing research collaborations between the two countries on enabling technologies required for the use of hydrogen as a fuel and energy storage medium.

Thursday, June 2         Surface Engineering for Sustainable  Development Symposium

The meeting  features applications in different areas including life cycle assessment, aerospace, battery technology, energy generation, AI and computational materials and bio-pharma.

The goal of the meeting is to update on the latest developments in the areas related to surface engineering, and to describe present and future challenges. One of the expected outcomes is networking, demonstration of synergies between different areas of applications, information about available expertise, and preparing background for future collaborations.

The program will feature several complementary activities: keynote lectures, moderated panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
