As digital technology continues to impact everyday life, it is important to build an individual awareness of the risks that the digital age pose to the social and environmental systems that support human and planetary health. This session will explain the concept of Digital Sustainability - including understanding the negative impacts of digitalization, and exploring how digital tools can accelerate sustainable development and address challenges like climate change. The session will provide a toolbox of resources to help participants build the skills needed to become more sustainable in the digital age. This may include tools to calculate your digital footprint, a primer on digital privacy, and more.
