Participates in 1 Session

My research interests focus on assessing functional levels and examining the effects of physical exercise in children with motor impairments. During my postdoctoral training, I developed expertise in the planning of training programs for children and adolescents with motor disorders. My work has evaluated the impact of swimming training on the functional level of children with cerebral palsy. Within this same population, I am currently developing a research line aimed at assessing the benefits of active video games (Wii, Kinect) in motor function rehabilitation processes. In parallel, I serve as Director of the Gait Analysis Laboratory at the Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Center of CHU Sainte-Justine, where I implement systematic assessments of children presenting with gait disorders.
