Omar Abdel Wahab

Omar Abul Wahab is professor in the department of computer and software engineering at Polytechnique Montreal since August 2022, specializing in cybersecurity, encompassing its technical, human, environmental, and strategic dimensions. From 2019 to 2022, he was a professor  at UQO (Gatineau). Before that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at ETS working on an industrial project with Ericsson. He obtained his PhD at Concordia University in 2018 and Masters degree in 2013 at the Lebanese American University (LAU). He is associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Services Computing journal.
