Jacky Lo is a Chinese Canadian artist, researcher, and educator from Vancouver living in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal, Canada. In his practice, he focuses on themes of social connections, memories, and identities. Lo has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Simon Fraser University and is completing his Master's of Art Education at Concordia University. His research interest explores the materiality of silk and how it can inform the past, present, and a reimagined future. Lo is an advocate for accessibility in the arts and education. He has worked in education and exhibition management for galleries and museums in Vancouver and Hong Kong. His recent projects have been navigating his identities of being Canadian, Chinese, queer, and disabled.
