Melissa Granovsky is a Jewish and Metis educator, researcher, and artist from Treaty 1 Territory (Winnipeg, Manitoba), now based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Currently in the third-year of her Ph.D. in Art Education, Melissa holds a Master of Adult Education and a Bachelor of Arts and Education. Beyond her academic pursuits, she is the Mentorship Coordinator for an innovative, accessible, remote, technology-based training program tailored for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit learners.  

Dedicated to fostering a profound sense of belonging in every collaborative endeavour, Melissa employs a holistic approach. Grounded in the principles of photovoice and decolonized methodologies, feminist theory, EDIJ+ (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Justice) best practices, and Universal Design for Learning, Melissa aims to create inclusive spaces for transformative learning and growth within the educational landscape.
