During this hands-on session, participants will learn how to preserve online content using Webrecorder, a free and open-source web archiving tool. The session will cover benefits of preserving web content, such as avoiding link rot and ensuring ongoing access to ephemeral or at-risk websites and webpages; give examples of use cases for web archiving; and give participants an opportunity to practice preserving web content on their own.
As digital technology continues to impact everyday life, it is important to build an individual awareness of the risks that the digital age pose to the social and environmental systems that support human and planetary health. In this presentation, I will explore some of the ways we use AI (especially generative AI) in the office, and the implications of this, focusing on equity and diversity.
