Professor
Ecole de technologie superieure

Christine Tremblay is the Founder and Head of the Network Technology Laboratory at École de technologie supérieure, a world-class optical network infrastructure an array of fully equipped WDM transmission systems operating at up to 800 Gb/s, 2500 km of optical fiber of different types, fiber-optic test and equipment, as well as external optical links in the Montreal downtown area.

Her research interests include performance monitoring, machine learning for optical communications, as well as design, characterization and sensing of optical networks. Current research collaborators include Ciena, TELUS, Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) and Télécom SudParis (France). The Network Technology Lab is recruiting, by the way!

Senior Member of the IEEE, member of the Optical Society of America (now OPTICA), and FRQNT Strategic Clusters STARaCom COPL, she has been co-instructor for short courses SC314 Hands-On Characterization for the Engineering of Long Haul and Metro Deployments and SC210 Hands-on Polarization-Related Measurements of the Optical Society of America at the Optical Fiber Communications (OFC) Conference.
