Laura Del Giacco is a secondary ESL educator and doctoral student at Concordia University. Her research aims to understand the experiences and limitations ESL teachers face when using standardized forms of assessment, particularly rubrics designed to assess oral proficiency among nonverbal second-language learners diagnosed with autism (ASD).
