As Dean of Indigenous Education at John Abbott College, Kim Tekakwitha Martin leads transformative initiatives that advance reconciliation, empower Indigenous learners, and embed culturally grounded pedagogy across institutional frameworks. She is an advocate for culturally safe and equitable access to education and healthcare, Kim also serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Kateri Memorial Hospital, where they champion community-driven governance and inclusive health strategies.

Participants will then work in small groups on questions such as “What does belonging feel like?” before coming together in a large circle for sharing and discussion
