Anna Jane McIntyre is an artist-educator based in Montreal. Her work investigates how people navigate belonging. Projects may incorporate giant emojis, feminist-foosball-tables, community workshops, commercial signage, thinking forests, Speaker's corners, abstract narratives and portraiture. McIntyre’s projects are an expression of Afropresentism combining her Trinidadian, British, adoptive-Canadian cultural influences. McIntyre’s work acknowledges the past-present-future, in joyous response to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s prompt Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?
