REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES

Early-bird registration rates are available until April 30, 2026.
As of May 1, 2026, the regular registration fee of 1,300 CAD (tax included) will apply.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All requests for cancellation of conference registration must be submitted in writing by email.

  • Requests received on or before June 1, 2026 (EST) will be refunded at 100% of the registration fee, less a 50 CAD administrative fee.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after June 1, 2026 (EST) or for no-shows.

Gala Dinner Tickets

All gala dinner ticket cancellations must also be submitted in writing by email.

  • Requests received on or before June 1, 2026 (EST) will be refunded at 100% of the ticket fee, less a 50 CAD administrative fee.

Visa Invitation Letters

For registrants without an accepted conference contribution (full paper or extended abstract), official visa invitation letters will be issued only after completed registration and verification of professional or institutional affiliation related to DBMC 2026.

If:

  • an invitation letter is declined following verification, or

  • a refund is requested after an invitation letter has been issued,

a 100 CAD administrative processing fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Early Bird Registration
This ticket grants full access to the DBMC 2026 conference at a reduced early-bird rate. It includes admission to all technical sessions, keynote lectures, poster sessions, workshops, networking areas, conference materials, and reception, all scheduled coffee breaks and lunches throughout the event. The Gala Dinner is not included in this ticket and must be purchased separately during registration as an add-on. The Gala Dinner is a special evening event featuring a three-course meal hosted in one of Montreal’s finest restaurants on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Student Registration
This ticket is available to students enrolled full-time in an academic institution. This option allows students to participate fully in the scientific and technical program at a reduced rate. A valid Student ID card must be provided at the registration time in order to benefit from the student rate. Without proof of student status, the regular registration fee will apply. It includes admission to all technical sessions, keynote lectures, poster sessions, workshops, networking areas, conference materials, and reception, all scheduled coffee breaks and lunches throughout the event. The Gala Dinner is not included in this ticket and must be purchased separately during registration as an add-on. This ticket is reserved for participants whose primary institutional affiliation is located in one of the eligible low-income countries listed below*. Only individuals currently working or studying in these countries may register under this category. This option supports broader international participation and encourages diverse global engagement in the DBMC community. It includes admission to all technical sessions, keynote lectures, poster sessions, workshops, networking areas, conference materials, and reception, all scheduled coffee breaks and lunches throughout the event. Gala Registration
The Gala Dinner is an optional, ticketed social event held during the DBMC 202 on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. This special evening includes a three-course dinner, networking opportunities with international delegates, and a curated program in a formal setting. Participants may purchase up to two tickets, one for themselves and one for a guest. This ticket is not included in any conference registration category and must be purchased separately. Please note that seating is limited, and tickets are available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants who wish to attend are encouraged to secure their ticket early during registration.
