Dr. Mireille Paquet is a professor in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University, where she holds the University Research Chair in Immigration Policies. She also serves as Director of the Institute for Research on Migration and Society at Concordia University, where she leads collaborative and multidisciplinary research initiatives.

Her research has been published in leading migration and political science journals, in addition to books about migration and society. She is a member of the College of the Royal Society of Canada and actively contributes to policy discussions in Canada and internationally.

This session brings together a small group of rapporteurs - drawn from civil society organizations and Bridging Divides researchers, who have followed the conference with a specific task: to listen, synthesize, and reflect critically on what was said, and what was left unsaid. Each rapporteurs to speak from their own standpoint, whether that is the realities of front-line service delivery, advocacy, or ongoing research.
