Call for Papers

We invite submissions of full papers or extended abstracts of theoretical and empirical research at the frontiers of AI and finance, including but not limited to:

  • AI and machine learning in corporate finance
  • AI and machine learning in entrepreneurial innovation
  • AI and sustainability
  • AI applications in financial markets
  • AI, emerging technologies, and digital finance
  • Natural language processing, robo-advisory, fraud detection
  • Ethics, governance, and regulation in AI applications

Conference Submission

Please submit full articles or extended abstracts to AIfinance@concordia.ca with the subject line 'AI in Finance Conference' by September 15, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent by September 22, 2025.

Conference Fee 

CAD 750 (approximately EUR 475 / USD 540) — includes meals, social program, gala dinner, and conference materials. PhD students who are presenting or attending as online presenters are eligible for a 50% discount. For additional details and different options see registration:

 

Call for Paper Development Workshop "AI in Corporate Finance" 

The AI in Finance conference is associated with a Special Issue in the Finance Research Letters on AI in Corporate Finance Finance and aims to provide authors with valuable insights from the editorial team prior to submission. Acceptance for presentation at the Conference is not a prerequisite for submission to the Special Issue and in no way guarantees acceptance to the Special Issue.

This Special Issue seeks compile a collection of high-quality, timely research papers exploring the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in Corporate Finance. As Artificial Intelligence continues to evolve, it presents significant opportunities and challenges across various facets of corporate finance, including among others financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisition, risk management, and corporate governance. Submissions should deepen the understanding of current and emerging AI applications, address associated obstacles, and propose innovative solutions within the corporate finance domain.

To support authors, two Paper Development Workshops, the first one hosted by Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany. For further details please click here. An the second in the context of this conference. The workshops  will provide valuable insights from the guest editorial team. Additionally, an expedited and well-organized review process will facilitate constructive referee feedback.

Special Issue Submission

The submission system will be open from May 1, 2025. When submitting your manuscript to Editorial Manager, please select the article type “SI: AI in Corporate Finance”. Please submit your manuscript before the submission deadline on December 31, 2025. For additional information see also the Call for Papers.
