When:
2:45 PM, Sunday 2 Jun 2024 (1 hour 15 minutes)
Where:
- EV 2.645

This workshop works with participants to explore emotional connections associated with objects in their lives, unlocking the lyrical potential of the everyday and the heirloom. By employing beeswax crayon rubbings, drawing, collage, and poetry, participants will engage with souvenirs, mementos, keepsakes, and everyday objects through a multi-textural creative process.

The workshop begins with a brief artist talk, followed by the excitement of a show-and-tell, fostering a sense of community and shared exploration. Morris Fox encourages participants to consider the depth of their thoughts and emotions regarding objects, explored through creative processes. Reflecting on how we navigate our personal histories through objects and memory, participants will reflect on the significance of the items that surround them daily.
