URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Uncommon Senses III: The Future of the Senses has had to be postponed. Clearly, it would have been a sensational conference. We thank you for your initial interest, and we hope that you will consider coming to Montreal just over a year from now (i.e. May 2021) for Uncommon Senses III: Back to the Future of the Senses, after these troubling times have passed.

We will be refunding everyone who has already paid the registration fee, though this may take some time as the university is closed for the next few weeks. You can opt out if you definitely plan to attend in 2021 by writing us at senses@concordia.ca [activate link] but we think the preferable route would be to get the reimbursement and register anew when the time comes.

Original Description of the Conference

Uncommon Senses III: The Future of the Senses will be taking place at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. We are pleased to be welcoming scholars from across the social sciences, humanities and arts to explore the future of the senses in a changing world. With three days of stimulating presentations, discussions, workshops, artwork and socializing, we are looking forward to a true feast for the senses!
