Keynote: Leadership from the edges: Wyrd thinking in a time of rapid change
My Session Status
This keynote asks us to reconsider the position from where we lead, with particular attention to in-between spaces in systems that are experiencing mounting pressure from both external and internal forces. Together we will identify the conceptual tools necessary to re-wire the institutional circuitry that sits at the convergence of relational, structural, and the cultural to help us lead at a time of collapse and emergence.
The good news is that we already have leaders in higher education with these well-developed skill sets: they are often the outliers, innovators, and early adopters that work between systems, engage in community partnerships, create integrated hubs, and collaborate on systems change with social justice lenses.
At this moment of paradigmatic change, we need to think differently, illuminate differently, and build differently. And we can only do this together in intentional community. We are the architects of a creative future.
