I am a first year PhD student in Educational Studies at the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) at McGill University. I am currently working as a Research Assistant for Dr. Angelica Galante. I am also a member of the Plurilingual Lab. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, I immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 2019 in pursuit of new opportunities. I have extensive experience as an English language teacher. My research interests are focused on second language acquisition in relation to identity.
