Dr. Catherine Fichten is currently a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Dawson College. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and a Clinical Psychologist in the Behavioural Psychotherapy and Research Unit at the Jewish General Hospital.
She is also co-director of the Adaptech Research Network. A bilingual, multidisciplinary, provincially and federally funded research group, based out of Dawson College. She regularly publishes in English and French with colleagues and students and currently holds grants from both provincial and federal agencies.
Last but not least, Prof Catherine is the recipient of the Canadian Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Contributions to Public or Community Service, the Denise Barbeau ACFAS Award, two awards from the Association pour la recherche au collegial (ARC), and more.
