Tara Ramsaran obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Accountancy and MBA degree at Concordia University, and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society. She also obtained her CPA, and is a member of the Order of CPA-Quebec and the State of Illinois.

She specializes in the areas of taxationincluding individual, corporate, estate and sales taxes.Professor Ramsaran teaches advanced taxation courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs (CPA and MBA).She also presents professional development seminars to CPAs of the Order of CPA-Quebec.
