Nadine Parla, CPA, CA, has been an instructor in the finance department since September 2015. Professor Parla teaches Personal Finance, a popular online course providing students with a solid overview in applying and managing finances. This course covers the financial planning process, taxation, debt management, investment concepts, insurance, retirement and estate planning.
She completed a BA at the University of Western Ontario, and completed a graduate diploma at McGill to become a Chartered Professional Accountant. Through the John Molson School of Business, Nadine has been teaching Concordia’s Personal Finance course (FINA 200) since 2015. She also sits on Concordia’s Part-Time Employee Benefits Committee and Pension Sustainability Forum Committee.
