The Concordia Library launched its Library Hub on SharePoint Online in December 2021. It is a central location for Library information that is relevant to all staff and it links to other SharePoint sites for individual units within the Library. It features a Project Index, Facilities Issue Tracker, News and Events sections, and tens of thousands of documents filed according to Concordia's Records Classification and Retention Plan. This digital skill share session will cover the story of how we did a user needs analysis, created our information architecture, and organized and migrated our documents from old versions of SharePoint and a shared drive to SharePoint Online using tools such as TreeSize and the SharePoint Migration Tool. I will also cover how we built popular features such as an index to all Library projects (with metadata), a facilities issue tracker, and our video training materials, and future plans for the Library's intranet.
