Jang Kwon has been working at Concordia University since 1994. He possesses a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Concordia as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University.
Throughout his career as a software development manager at Instructional and Information Technology Services (IITS), he has managed a staff overseeing enterprise scale software systems in Finance/Accounting, Payroll/Human Resources, and Fundraising, as well as numerous smaller scale systems that support vital University functions.
Jang has also been involved at the University at an extracurricular level, serving as chairperson of the Concordia Shuffle advisory committee from 2011 to 2015. Jang's dedication was acknowledged in 2012 as the Concordia University Alumni Association Staff Member of the year in 2012.
Jang's home passion of cooking and baking garnered him a TV appearance in 2022 on the inaugural season of Food Network Canada's "Wall of Bakers", being the sole Montreal area representative out of the total 40 people selected from across Canada.
