Open textbooks can be fun, interactive, and foster accessible and multimodal learning. In this session, we will offer a soft-launch of our Guide to Pressbooks at Concordia University. Beyond looking at highlights from innovative uses of Pressbooks, we will explore interactive features, accessibility, and multimedia features of Pressbooks. In this presentation, I will explore some of the ways we use AI (especially generative AI) in the office, and the implications of this, focusing on equity and diversity.
