Don’t miss the meet and greet gathering and plenary session! Join us for the meet and greet gathering and plenary session on Thursday, February 22nd taking place at Concordia’s John Molson Building, 9th floor. Take the opportunity to network with attendees and presenters.
This session is an invitation for collective insight into the interplay between humans and technology. Dive into how people, culture, and technology collectively shape our experiences and drive our community. Engage in an exploration of how we can apply a system's thinking approach to enrich our work at Concordia.
Open textbooks can be fun, interactive, and foster accessible and multimodal learning. In this session, we will offer a soft-launch of our Guide to Pressbooks at Concordia University. Beyond looking at highlights from innovative uses of Pressbooks, we will explore interactive features, accessibility, and multimedia features of Pressbooks. Participants will get the chance to test out Pressbooks for themselves.
The presentation will showcase the use of some applications on your iPad that allow teaching to be more effective and interactive. Also, how to grade students' work in ways that save time while making the process more humanistic but effective and "ecofriendly".
