Climate Business Conference

About

The 2026 Sustainable in Business and Economics Conference, organized by the Climate Business Institute at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University (Montréal, Canada), invites submissions from across business disciplines addressing sustainability as a central challenge for firms, markets, and economic systems.

The conference aims to bring together academics, policymakers, and industry researchers to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and advance research at the intersection of sustainability and business. Contributions from areas including strategy, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, marketing, and operations are particularly welcome.

The program will feature full paper presentations, short research presentations, and roundtable discussions designed to encourage cross-disciplinary exchange and the development of new research agendas.

Conference Highlights

September 27, 2026: Opening Gala Dinner featuring a keynote address

September 28, 2026: Main Academic Conference, including paper presentations, roundtable discussions,the KPMG Best Paper Award in Business Sustainability Research ceremony, and a closing reception

The program will feature presentations and discussions on sustainability in business across a range of disciplines, including strategy and management, accounting and finance, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and responsible consumption, and operations and supply chain management.
